Quinta do Lago Sul
Although it has three golf courses, the Quinta do Lago Sul course is considered the “jewel of the crown”, it was here that the Portuguese Open was held eight times. It was designed by the american William Mitchell and although it is much sought by professionals, the Course challenges players of all levels, offering a view of the Ria Formosa Natural Park among lakes, pine trees and wildflowers. Just 20 minutes by car you will find our villa Vale Mouro.
Pine Cliffs Resort
The Pine Cliffs golf course is 60 meters high, overlooking the beach and crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Built in the middle of a pine grove, with tree-lined fairways stretching parallel to the Atlantic Ocean, the main concern of the architect, was to keep the natural surroundings. The jewel of this course is the 6th hole par 3 which requires a stroke of 197 meters on the cliff so that the ball reaches the green. Our apartments, Vilas Sul and Quinta do Milharó, are just 5 minutes’ walk from this golf course.
Benamor Golf
Located a few kilometers from the city of Tavira, Benamor Golf was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and is surrounded by a magnificent landscape of mountains to the north and sea to the south. The perfect environment to achieve the necessary concentration for the various fairways of this rather demanding field. The villa Vale Mouro is only 30 minutes drive from this beautiful golf course.
